Camps

Camps

“YWAM RIVER CITY is a place where young leaders encounter God, mature in community and go to the nations.”

Our camps are 1-5 day experiences where you draw closer to God as you hone in on a specific topic or skill – soccer, Jiu Jitsu, Media, Bible study – alongside others.  Our value of “Do first, then teach,” means you will learn from an experienced facilitator who also knows how to frame the focus with a Biblical basis.  Our hope is that through this short-term community you will be prepared as a Believer to increase your abilities and be equipped to GO in a new way, representing God with skills and understanding not always associated with ministry.

KEY YWAM VALUES

While all 18 YWAM Foundation Values shape our programs, these are key:

  • #1 Know God
  • #5 Be visionary
  • #6 Champion young people
  • #9 Have a biblical christian worldview
  • #12 Do first, then teach
  • #13 Be relationship oriented
  • #18 Communicate with integrity
