Trips

“YWAM RIVER CITY is a place where young leaders encounter God, mature in community and go to the nations.”

Our trips are full-service short-term mission trips that send vocational volunteers into all the world, with opportunities ranging from domestic to international.  Our value of “Champion young people” means we are committed to ensuring even the youngest team member knows they play a valuable role in making God known.  Whether a teaching trip or traditional mission trip, these opportunities focus on training, mercy ministry, and evangelism.  These trips are not “one-off projects”, but rather opportunities for you to support existing long-term work with short-term assistance.  When you or your group join us, we make sure the big logistics are covered; we handle the lodging, food, spiritual rhythms and more so that group leaders can focus on the discipleship of their team.

WHAT TO KNOW

What ages does this include?
There are opportunities for all ages to engage in our Trips, though for minors a guardian should be present. Throughout the year certain Trips may pinpoint specific ages, particularly when safety is a concern.  That said, “Value Families” is a foundational value, and we love finding ways to open opportunities for all ages.

What does lodging look like?
Lodging is chosen based on group dynamics, trip location, and unique needs.  Affordability and relevance also shape where groups are housed.

How much do trips cost?
Our vary in cost, based on several factors, such as staffing, travel, supplies, and duration.  More details can be found in the specific trip details.
