About Her
Elyssa Hersom was raised in a Christian family and developed a strong biblical foundation from an early age.
She committed her life to Christ at four years old, and her passion for the Lord continued to grow throughout her childhood and adolescence.
In her early twenties, after personal trials that challenged her faith, Elyssa experienced healing and discipleship that deepened her understanding of God and restored her passion for Him.

Ministry
Elyssa serves with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) since 2023, dedicated to knowing God and making Him known.
She works with individuals from diverse backgrounds, equipping them to grow in their relationship with God, walk in freedom in Christ, and confidently share the gospel. Her ministry includes discipling college students, walking alongside them in their faith journeys, and helping provide opportunities for short-term mission experiences. She is passionate about building authentic relationships and teaching the Word of God, exploring His character, and drawing deeper truths from Scripture.
Through speaking and writing, she encourages others with the healing and faithfulness of God she has experienced. She also encourages and grows with other single women in their love for the Lord.
