Family
Max and Bethany McCullough, both from Virginia Beach, have a deep love for people, discipleship, service, prayer, and worship. In 2014, they sensed God leading them to join YWAM as a family, with a calling to serve both their local community and the nations. They have three children: two boys, Shiloh and Levi, and a daughter, Jubilee. As a family, they are passionate about equipping young people from around the world to return to their own cities and nations to share the Gospel. Their life is centered on faith, mission, and raising their children in a Christ-centered environment.
Ministry
Max and Bethany served with YWAM Richmond for five years before joining the pioneering team that launched YWAM Virginia Beach in 2019. Since then, they have been actively involved in training and equipping students through Discipleship Training Schools. They also serve at Restoration Church, where Max leads worship and youth ministry, and Bethany serves in the nursery. Max is passionate about worship, songwriting, and construction projects that support missions. Bethany focuses on prayer ministry, teaching, inner healing, and member care, while also serving administratively. Together, they disciple and send believers to the nations.
