Working amidst your weakness

The blog below was inspired by this episode of “What’s God Doing?”

Have you ever been put in a place where you feel like you can’t do what God expects of you?

My friend Tori told me a story from her outreach with her church. They went to Portugal with the goal of doing healing ministry in the churches.

As they were praying for people, many were healed; however, Tori was seeing no results. She later confessed that her perspective was believing it was her job to do the healing; if there were no results, it was her fault. She must have been doing something wrong.

“It was hard to not see any fruit when others were. So, I avoided it the next day.” She recounted.

Eventually, she shared with her leaders how she was feeling.  One told her to trust God, giving the analogy of swimming: if you panic in the water, you will drown. “You have to leave the results in God’s hands” she told her.

“Once, I did that it felt like a weight was lifted and I was finally able to have peace.”

Perhaps God is saying the same thing to you: “It’s time to let go.”  If this is you, then please ask for prayer in the comment section. You don’t have to give any details unless you wantand can simply type, “I need prayer.”
